North Little Rock, Ark. - LifeTouch Health is pleased to announce the appointment of Jessica K. Ellis, Ph.D., MBA, as its new Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Ellis brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare operations and leadership, along with a passion for improving patient care and advancing organizational performance.

In her new role, Ellis will oversee the operational functions of LifeTouch Health, which until recently was known as the Arkansas Hospice Family of Care, working to ensure the delivery of high-quality services across the organization’s growing continuum of care.

“I am honored to join LifeTouch Health during such an exciting time of growth and transformation,” Ellis said. “I look forward to building on the strong foundation of this organization and working with the incredible team to touch the lives of patients and families across Arkansas in meaningful ways.”

Before joining LifeTouch Health, Ellis served in key leadership roles at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), where she focused on operational improvements, patient outcomes, and organizational growth. Her extensive background spans finance, clinical operations, practice management, and healthcare communications. In addition, Ellis has contributed as an adjunct faculty member, guest lecturer, and board member for several local and national organizations.

Dr. Brian Bell, President and CEO of LifeTouch Health, expressed confidence in Ellis’ ability to guide the organization’s operational efforts during its continued evolution. “We are thrilled to welcome Jessica to the LifeTouch Health family.  Her expertise and leadership will be instrumental in advancing our mission to provide compassionate, high-quality care while expanding our services to meet the evolving needs of our community.”

LifeTouch Health recently announced a name-brand transition from Arkansas Hospice and related services to the new umbrella brand to better reflect its diverse range of care offerings. Founded in 1992, the organization has grown into the largest nonprofit provider of hospice care in the state, while also introducing personal care, primary care, and palliative care services to its model.

As LifeTouch Health, the organization continues its legacy of trusted care, serving nearly 2,000 patients daily across Arkansas. Whether through end-of-life care, comfort and support during serious illness, or services that enable independent living, LifeTouch Health is committed to enhancing the quality of life for patients and their families at every stage.
