LifeTouch Health receives 2026 Hospice CAHPS Honors Awards
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – LifeTouch Health, the state’s largest non-profit provider of hospice care, has been named a recipient of the 2026 Hospice CAHPS Honors Awards. This prestigious annual program shines a spotlight on high-performing hospice agencies that continuously deliver quality care as measured by patient and caregiver experiences.
The awards are based on satisfaction scores from the Hospice Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) surveys, which are given to caregivers of hospice patients, and exclusively recognize hospice agencies that have chosen to work with MatrixCare, a software company specializing in the post-acute care industry, to administer their hospice surveys.
The Hospice CAHPS Honors program is a meaningful recognition of the dedication and hard work that hospice agencies put into delivering exceptional patient care. By highlighting agencies that excel in patient satisfaction and quality of care, this program not only celebrates outstanding achievement, but also sets a standard of excellence within the hospice industry.
Award criteria were based on Hospice CAHPS survey results for an evaluation period of April 2025 through December 2025. Eligibility requirements included having at least one complete survey returned in each of the three quarters of the evaluation period. Award recipients were identified by evaluating performance on a set of 22 quality indicator measures. Hospice CAHPS Honors was awarded to hospices that scored above the MatrixCare National Score on at least 17 of the evaluated questions.
Last year, Arkansas Hospice President & CEO Dr. Brian Bell announced that Arkansas Hospice’s Family of Care is becoming LifeTouch Health to better reflect the organization’s broadened mission and comprehensive offerings, which include hospice care, palliative care, primary care, and personal care services. The 2026 Hospice CAHPS Honors Awards recognize care provided by LifeTouch Health’s Berryville, El Dorado, and Russellville locations. The organization has been recognized with Hospice Honors awards each year since 2013.
